By booking with us, you agree to these terms and conditions. They exist to make sure every guest and team member enjoys a safe, respectful, and memorable stay at Wonderland Jungle Hostel.

πŸ•“ Check-In & Check-Out

Check-In: 14:00–21:00. Please tell us if you’ll arrive late. Unannounced arrivals after 21:00 may be marked as no-shows and charged.

Check-Out: 11:00.

🧭 Reception Hours

Open daily from 09:00 to 21:00.

πŸ’³ Payment

Payment is due in cash on arrival. By confirming a booking, you authorize us to charge your card for any valid fees β€” cancellations, no-shows, damages, or rule violations β€” as stated here and on partner booking platforms.

🚫 Cancellation & Refunds

  • Free cancellation 72+ hours before arrival.
  • Late (under 72h): charged 1 night + 5% processing fee.
  • Same-day: charged arrival + next night.
  • No-show: full stay + 5% fee.
  • Fully prepaid: no refund under 72h.
  • Shortening your stay: no refund for removing one night.
  • Early departure: refund only if your bed/room is resold (-20% commission).
  • Approved refunds are paid in cash at the hostel.

🏠 Hostelworld Deposits

Deposits made through Hostelworld are handled by Hostelworld directly. We do not receive or refund these payments β€” contact their support for assistance.

βš–οΈ Reservation Rights

We may cancel or refuse bookings to protect guest safety and business integrity β€” for example, in cases of failed payment, false information, or past policy violations. Guests will be informed as soon as possible.

πŸ’₯ Damage & Liability

Guests are responsible for any damage, loss, theft, or excessive cleaning. Charges may be made to the card on file. Invalid cards or unpaid damages may result in blacklisting.

🀝 House Rules & Guest Conduct

  • No outside alcohol in the bar, kitchen, or shared spaces.
  • No unregistered visitors in dorm rooms.
  • You may relax after checkout, but overnight stays post-checkout are not allowed (Thai law requires registration).
  • Respect staff and other guests. Aggression, insults, or intimidation = eviction without refund.
  • Excessive intoxication or illegal drug use = removal.
  • Review manipulation, blackmail, or payment fraud = treated as fraud.
  • False check-in info may void your booking.
  • No tampering with safety equipment or creating unsafe conditions.
  • No harassment of any kind.
  • Quiet hours: 23:00–06:00.
  • All guests must follow Thai law.
  • Group photos may be taken for marketing; tell staff if you prefer not to appear.

We may refuse service or evict guests without refund for serious or repeated rule violations.

Reviews must reflect genuine stays. Guests who breach our terms (damage, non-payment, abuse, fraud, etc.) may forfeit the right to leave public reviews.

We may contest or request removal of reviews that are dishonest, retaliatory, or violate OTA content policies. Honest feedback is always welcome.

πŸ‘₯ Group Bookings

Groups of 6+ may require prepayment or deposits. Bookings split under different names can be canceled without notice.

⏰ Check-In Deadline

Reception closes at 21:00. No-contact arrivals after this time are treated as no-shows and charged accordingly.

🧽 Shared Spaces

Please keep bathrooms, kitchen, and lounges clean. Repeated misuse or poor hygiene can lead to removal without refund.

🍞 Breakfast

We offer free toast with spreads, seasonal fruit, and instant coffee every morning in the common area.

🚬 Smoking

Allowed only in designated outdoor areas.

We are not liable for disruptions caused by events beyond our control such as storms, power cuts, political unrest, or transport strikes.

By booking, you agree to receive essential updates about your stay via email, SMS, or WhatsApp.

We collect only the data required for your booking and Thai immigration reporting. It is shared only with booking platforms or authorities as legally required. You can request to access, correct, or delete your data anytime by emailing wonderlandkohtao@gmail.com.

We’re located behind Babaloo Restaurant. Our hillside setting offers great views β€” we recommend renting a motorbike to explore Koh Tao easily.

By booking, you confirm that you’ve read, understood, and accepted all terms listed here. These apply to all bookings, including those via third-party sites. Governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. Any disputes fall under Thai court jurisdiction. If these terms ever conflict with those of a booking platform, the stricter policy applies unless invalid under Thai law.
